WHAT IS THE SHEET METAL APPRENTICESHIP:
The Sheet Metal Workers’ Apprenticeship is a combination of classroom work and on-the-job training. The apprenticeship teaches skills that are technically and professionally oriented. Therefore, the prospect for a rewarding, good paying career is very good. New apprentice classes start every three (3) months. Applications are taken Monday through Friday from 8:30 am to 4:30 pm. Applicants will be notified of schedule test dates.
The Sheet Metal Workers’ Apprenticeship is a five-year training program which includes the following:
a. 40 hours per week on-the-job instruction
b. One day every two weeks classroom instruction.
